Mid Game 6 spoilers
[spoiler]So, at the point where Battler is being tested on his "possible logic fail" move. He's been judged by Lambda who actually congratulates him on his move.

Obviously, I've been hammering my head ALL DAY trying to figure it out. I've been testing theories up one side and down the other.

First off, though, I have several big issues with this scene. The first: "Ushiromiya Battler does not exist within the guest room. ….There are no exceptions, including the closet."

And then his next theory is to have himself escape when Erika is fighting the shower in the bathroom, despite the fact that

No one was seen in the BATHROOM. was said in red by Dlanor. Of course, Dlanor said this so did Erika really not search the bathroom before and so did not notice the shower?

Next: At that time, I immediately close the door, reset the chain, and sealed this room. was inserted AFTER the shower thing. WTF? I realize they said that the room was locked into some time stop thing but that almost seems like it's cheating. If she can just go back and say whatever the hell she wants whenever Battler comes up with a theory. :[

Next, Scy, do you happen to remember and/or have the description for the chain locks? I know they were described somewhere in either game 1 or 2?

My theory of "how Battler could get out" actually revolves around the chain lock contraption. If Battler is on the inside, can't he unscrew the actual metal piece from its foundation on the wall, allowing for the The lock caused by the chain is intact. but still allow him to slip past the door?

Though, obviously, the fatal flaw is that he would then have to rescrew it or something from the other side to prevent Erika from noticing which goes against "closed room description" so that's not possible, is it? Uggg, I probably need to think of something else.

Edit: oh? Is it going to give me the solution O_O *continues reading furiously* ..... though a part of me wants to shut it off and try to think of my own theory a little more and see how close I got it.[/spoiler]

On a second run through of Kokoro's path, all I got were bad ends.

I can't even tell where I could of made a false step.

*sigh* Mystery still unresolved. I swear there's more; the wiki even has evidence of another end.

I hope Battler rips her fucking heart out through her throat.

You know what's kinda sad, though, as much as I ridicule Erika for this. I sit back and think of all the horrors and dramas I've watched where I'm always screaming "GO UP AND PUT A FUCKING KILL SHOT IN THEIR DAMN BRAIN!" .... I will probably never be able to say something along those lines without thinking of Erika.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]I looked up some quick forums and tried to see if I couldn't divine some sort of wisdom or something that may help you Osiris. What I got that seemed pretty significant was that another person who had also gone through and through and through kept getting all bad ends but he was told that at least one of those seemingly "bad ends" was not and was actually the good end. Pretty much, if you got the ending music and credits, you got "good end".

Well, all it really did was confirm how I really got another ending, the heartwarming one. It was conclusive and still not so.

Except for one thing...

Which proceeded to completely. Blow. My. Mind.

My reaction, which is vague but will leave you wondering about truth:

I don't know. It appears that theory-page you linked had everything I knew and speculated.

Also, ever since I read the parts about Satoru being a 'gentleman,' and how he'd prefer a pocket watch over a wristwatch, I was really starting to think of the guy as me.
Reading that page, however, clinched it; When they mention how Kokoro and Satoru attempt to figure out the mysteries, Satoru is considered someone that doesn't attempt to solve the mystery until he obtains more clues. I can't seem to be conclusive about anything unless it was directly stated inside the game.

Which is why I'm still lost; there are way more questions, and not enough answers. I keep thinking there's another full ending somewhere, or a passage I haven't read.
Consider this: I have 19/33 endings, 144/154 scenes, and 103 of 116 album files. I have 91% of messages, and 89% of choices.
The clinchers are: The scenes and the albums. Most of these are in areas where -guess what- there could be a separate ending. A very full ending. Another seems to be somewhere in the middle. And an image in the opening I have yet to see.

I am gathering I am missing key points at areas I have not fully explored. One of which I have yet to change, which is a complete 180 of what happened. However, I'm wondering if that is based on chance. I know it exists, as the page you linked directly mentioned both outcomes.

And the final piece of the puzzle...

EDIT: One thing I like is being intellectually stimulated. Like Ever17, this game provides it in spades. And then some.

Of course, the problem you're having is the problem I always find the most fun when playing visual novels with good/bad ends.

I'm just starting the story, I'm at the part
[spoiler]where Kokoro has just 'shifted back' into herself and been reunited with Yuni and they are stuck in a cabin[/spoiler]

Know nothing about this story other than the body switch thing, so I'm looking forward to seeing what endings I'll get and if I have issues.


...33 endings... holy shit.... *walks away muttering*
