Actually... the nsfw thread isn't as bad as a person would assume it is. I think like only 10% of the posted images are anything that is like "extreme" and the rest is either just fun or as Rosel says, just has certain parts showings that make it impermissible on the main forums.

You can also decide to unjoin the NSFW group at any time. It's actually easier to UNJOIN than it is to join. Joining needs my permission (I get a notice and I have to manually add you to the group) but to unjoin, it's like three button clicks, if that.

Maybe some time.
