Thanks everyone!! I had a really great birthday.

I invited a bunch of people out for dinner and such, pretty much everyone I know here in Virginia. Mostly everyone was able to come! It was really great.

No presents or anything. A friend gave me a drawing one of her kids made in school, and my co-worker bought me an ice cream sundae. My husband didn't get me anything; we stopped doing presents to each other a few years ago. My parents sent me a card, but it hasn't shown up in the mail yet.

Oh and I got a lot of Facebook happy birthdays, that was neat, and two friends actually sent me a happy birthday text... which have become rare in the age of Facebook! My friend Julie back in Oklahoma tried to call but I was at dinner, so we texted a bit instead. It was very sweet of her to think of me and call!

So, yeah. A good birthday! I feel ridiculously loved and happy right now.

Also I am 26 years old.
