A super console stops competition which in turn stops quality games as there's then no need to make a better product to allure consumers to theirs.
Though arguments have been made that this shouldn't really impact independent developers much negatively ... or, rather, it should be a positive force since they now have more people to compete with to make better games.
As for the 360 RROD, I'm on my 3rd 360 since launch, we've had 2 PS3s break (though only one counts as the other is "user error") and 2 Wii's go dead. *shrugs*
Child + multiple DVDs + PS3 = Dead PS3 Drive
Yes, also LOL at the Pac-Man on google.
I'm not the kind of 'it's good because its retro person'. Its just good if its good. Looking back these days, there's only a handful of Atari ST games that actually seem good; where you can ignore the average 16-bit graphics because the game is quality.
Besides, you don't play the Pac-Man port, you play the . Or at least, I did. Modern Frantic mode was at least mildly amusing these days.
I'm also quite sure that Pong was never released on the system; sure you're not thinking of the Atari 2600, rather than the ST?
Which was, I fully agree, quite shit.
