I used to play WC3 uh ... ridiculously competitively. SC2 is just more fun to me this time around. I was also a failure as a Korean and hated the multiplayer of the original StarCraft so ... yeah.
Though, I really think that Day9's shoutcasts (as well as HDs and Husky's, to a lesser extent) have really sparked my interest in getting back to the ridiculous competitive level.
To be fair, I haven't done much multiplayer on SC2 yet >> Busy otherwise, I guess.
Undead > NE > Orc > Human. I never could play Orc (or Human, actually) again after the changes to caster damage. I just liked Undead and NE a lot since it worked well with my micro. Mass Ghouls and microing them for the surround / moving Ghouls targeted was fun.
There was a long stint of time where I played Random exclusively since I had a tactic for any race down pretty damn well. I was anal, though, and refused to keep my account name if it lost once >> Took forever to finally break 100-0.
I didn't play much when the expansion hit, however. The whole re-learning things, plus getting bored, had me quit.

I loved the expansion until they began tossing around mercenary heroes and whatnot. The Crypt Lord, Warden and Shadow Dancer brought something nice to the table, as well as many of the new units. The Blood Mage, Bat Riders and things like that... eh. Not so interesting. Still. Night Elf. I like Night Elves. My eldest played Night Elf with me in 2v2. The meat of the orcs really synergies well.
And yeah. Undead Ghoul surround is hilariously bad. More so with a Dread Lord... though I could never bring myself to lose out on aura/Death Coil.
Edit - Crypt Lord/Dread Lord... what ever.

Remember that lone DVD of Hare+Guu I got a while back? Probably not because it's been so long. Well, I finally received my order from RightStuf, so it's not alone anymore.
My order was shipped on August 10, and arrived today on September 8. That's four weeks. I was sure I would have to pay import tax and extra ransom money. I was actually beginning to wonder if it was lost or something. Happy surprise, I got it without any taxes
It was in a huge plastic bag with 'Sweden Post' on it though, so I wonder if maybe it traveled around a bit.
Anyway, on to the good stuff. Since I'm now making lots of money (unfortunately, that comes in exchange for having very little free time anymore), I ordered a little more than usual:
- Hare+Guu vols. 1-4,6,7 + Artbox (AN/Bang Zoom) - 7 cases with 1 disc each, together in a nice sturdy artbox (oh, and don't forget the bonus afro chest hair wig). I would prefer a thinpak collection, but this singles collection is all there is (and it's out of print too already).
- Gakuen Alice (Nozomi) - 5 thinpaks with 1 disc each, in a nice sturdy artbox. Nozomi know how it's done.
- Negima!? Complete Series (Funimation) - 2 thinpaks with 2 discs each, in a flimsy carton box.
- Kurau ~ Phantom Memory Complete Series (Funimation) - 2 thinpaks with 2 discs each, in a flimsy carton box.
- Hell Girl Complete First Season (Funimation) - 1 case with 4 discs. The shrink wrap seems to have wrinkled the plastic cover a little, but otherwise it's okay. This is the SAVE edition, but the cover art is the same as that of the Viridian edition (minus the logo). Confusing, ne?
- Hell Girl ~ Two Mirrors Collection One (Sentai) - 1 case with 2 discs.
- Hell Girl ~ Two Mirrors Collection Two (Sentai) - 1 case with 2 discs. These discs are numbered 1 and 2 again, and the 'collection one/two' is only marked on the box, so I'd better not take the discs out at the same time.
