bought Maiden Rose volume 1 and read a little while eating lunch

art is okay; [hide]cocks are actually defined, which is strange for a manga because usually they're like LOLBUBBLES or some shit[/hide] ... And, incidentally, they were in bed in less than 5 pages, and quite... uh... yes. Well, I'll give it a more thorough review later. Preliminary verdict is that the art is decent; it's actually very good, but I don't like the seme's character design... small eyes and big mouth, with a very square face -- like I get he's supposed to look like a Saxon and all, so it kinda works, but he's not very "cute" and that's a big deal for me. But the story actually intrigues me quite a bit -- feudalism blended with WWI-era war tech, a knight loyal to a lord.

I kept trying to order this "Rozen Maiden" manga I had heard about but wondered why there were a bunch of dolls and no [hide]cocks[/hide] ... then I realized the names were just scarily similar
