So one of the guys at GameStop was telling me they're rolling out a new points/reward program to supplement the Edge card. You get like 10 points for every $1 you spend to get swag with, and then they have free drawings and stuff for special editions of games or, like, a trip to Rome.
Sounds kinda cool.
Anyway, I finally scored me a copy of Chibi Robo: Park Patrol which I have wanted since forever but was Wal-Mart exclusive and I hate those assholes.
Also bought Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey... even includes the bonus CD! yay!
And Maiden Rose II.

Yeah, my Edge card is good until like June 2011, too, so I'm stoked. They were saying that they've been trying out the program elsewhere in the country and are finally rolling it out here in Virginia.
I was at the VA Beach GameStop, though, so I'll have to check with the one near my house. I like going out to the Borders in VA Beach whenever I get a coupon, because I can buy my stupid yaoi manga.
Although the other day I looked everywhere and just could not find the gay/lesbian section, so I asked the lady and she's like "Oh, yeah, it's reeeally small..." .... and there were like 12 fucking books on a little corner somewhere~
;____; wtf! The Borders in OKC had like 3 rows of lesbian fiction, 2 rows of gay fiction, and then another 2-3 rows of non-fiction. But that's better than the Barnes & Noble in OKC which didn't carry any yaoi manga imprints. No BLU, no June, nothing. Just like FAKE and Gravitation since they're TokyoPop (which is bullshit since both are distributed by HarperCollins), and they had plenty of Diamond Comic's other imprints, and DMP's het titles, but not the yaoi ones.
Also Maiden Rose II is fucking awesome. New contender for favorite series.

Ohohoh. I got my copy of EOIII today...along with the artbook (I did not preorder so I was like "whaaat?!")
Well cool...I guess EOII will wait a bit >_>
Also the artbook is so full of spoilers :\ I caught a glimpse of a few EOIII monsters/bosses (who knows?) before closing it, damn it :E

"Who are you people and where's my horse?"
And it spoiled the EOI stratums for me, and the EOIII stuff. I knew all of the EOII ones though, cause I've played it. Sigh... That's still too bad though. Although enemy spoilers aren't as bad as stratum spoilers, it's nice to go into a new stratum and go "ohhh...", so at least you didn't get that spoiled too.

I'm pretty sure the book warns readers that it contains spoilers =P
Anyway, I took advantage of another one of Steam's sales and bought Left 4 Dead & Left 4 Dead 2 (with the new "The Sacrifice" expansion) for a whole $10.
Bought New copies of Bioshock 2 and Prototype at Target for $7.48 each.

I wasn't too impressed with either game... but for that price, it's a pretty good deal XD
