Same with the black ds. I had a silver one but the shoulder pads wore out. Now I'm stuck with this ugly black one that makes me feel like I need to wash my hands whenever i play it.

Why would a consumer want that?

Glossy screens have infinitely better colors, contrast ratio, image quality, etc.; matte screens lose a lot of that for glare protection.

The screens being glossy isn't so bad. You don't usually touch them anyway. The rest of the case being glossy is just bad design.

I was meaning to ask, actually; how was PSP2? I don't really plan on doing any of the multiplayer content if that changes anything. The demo didn't seem too bad barring some "I fucking suck at this targeting thing" which is more player error than game error.
