Price wise, it's not bad (about the price you should pay for it) but the TV itself just isn't that good for gaming. High input lag (a standard with all Samsung TVs) basically kills it for gaming. Can check for some owner feedback.

Personally, I'd look at the at $699.99 or the also at $699.99. Here's the for those sets.

Edit: I own the 52LD550 and the set is perfectly fine for gaming and good IQ. The 47LDXXX line, as far as I know, are all IPS panels so that's the best you can do for LCD gaming; unsure if the 42s are like that as well.

Though, I don't think the promo code applies to either of the LGs.

Currently reading. I always forget that I don't enjoy historicals as much as fantasy, yet I keep buying them expecting I'll like them...

Thought I'd diversify my RPG diet from fantasy/steampunk/giant mechs etc. And any football RPG where you can play against Prof. Layton gets a thumbs up from me
