Instead of just buying plain tealights all the time, I have taken up various scents while they were relatively cheap in bulk. Vanilla pumpkin has been wonderful, thus far.
Other bulk purchases include two boxes of hot apple drink mix, assorted import teas, four sacks of almonds, and an unhealthy amount of instant noodles. Strange, because I rarely eat that kind of stuff unless I am very pressed for time.
Edit:
Oh. I suppose my non-game stuff really stands out in this thread. So here:

Debating on if I want the blu-ray or DVD, would the subs and menus on a blu-ray be legible on a standard def tv? Though I'd probably watch it dubbed.
Edit: actually reading up on it, it sounds like the masters for FLCL were in standard def, which I suppose shouldn't come as a surprise, may as well go for the DVD then.

I saw Summer Wars up for pre-order too, I've been meaning to see that, so I ordered that too, got the DVD since it's cheaper and I don't have an HD TV yet anyway.
Also NA and Japan being under the same region code? I suddenly like the Blu-Ray format a whole lot more.
