Watching some of Headmasters first, if only to satisfy my curiosity as to how the characters will sound in Japanese.

My Razer Onza Tournament Edition, which has been on back-order since launch, finally arrived the other day. The first thing I have to say is OMG the d-pad is fucking INCREDIBLE. It feels a little weird, unlike any d-pad I've ever used, but my god you can consistently get very fast and very accurate inputs easily. The face-buttons are stupidly responsive too. You actually have to be careful about where you rest your thumb, because the slightest brush will set them off.
Haven't really used the MFBs yet, just stuck them as alternate bumpers for now. The bumpers themselves are passable but nothing special. The triggers however are a mixed bag. For a quick, one off input, they’re great; fast and responsive. When you require multiple/drawn out presses (i.e. in a shooter) it just feels weird and unnatural. It’s probably due to the fact the trigger doesn’t actually go down very far at all, unlike a standard control, and I’ll probably get used to it, but it is a little annoying.
The adjustable tension on the thumbsticks is a nice luxury to have too. Not really necessary and a little excessive maybe, but nice.
