I pre-ordered a book that won't be out until May of next year. There isn't even a synopsis for it yet, let alone a cover image. But it was only $13 with shipping... and it's a hardcover... and the author's going to sign all copies of the first printing... AND I CAN'T WAAAAIIIIIIIIT!

Hehe, yes. Guess I forgot to mention that in all my fangirl excitement. xD
It's called The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green. He's one half of the vlogbrothers on YouTube and has a few other novels out as well (which nobody seems inclined to turn in for trade credit at my store! D<).
EDIT: I do believe it's been a best seller on Amazon at one point recently? Through the power of the interwebs (mostly YouTube and Twitter)!

Just picked up my first ever smart phone (Droid Incredible 2 for those who give a shit). Was going to get a Droid X, but I dislike its shape. Either way this is a gigantic step forward from the ancient piece of machinery I have been using.
Also I bought some cider.
