Breath of Fire III is really fucking great, just like everything in that series. But I have to say, the meat is really BoF II. That game is really fantastic.

I have BoF II. But I always wanted BoF III. Only played just past the colosseum. No has PSP.

Ace Combat X and Virtua Fighter 5. You'll get a big post from me once I'm into ACX, because just going to the menu is filling me with delicious nostalgia <3 like meeting an old friend

I've missed this series so much

Bought myself a nice $300 chair. I'd take a picture but I really don't want to get off my ass to take a picture of it. Dealwithit.gif.

Take a picture of it along with your ass. Clearly that is the best solution.

That is the first thing that grabbed my attention.

There is also that panel on the left. Overlooked it at first, but then realized it is perfect for reprogramming for a much better experience. Whenever something uses WASD controls there is a significant chance I will hit Z, X or C by accident so I usually have to unbind those keys out of irritation.

I hate that left panel, if only because it looks like it's one with the board and not a peripheral. They're great if you FPS a lot (or any wasd/esdf control scheme games) but it looks so weird attached to the board and way off to the side like that.

I generally have a similar response to weird things like that: mouse with a funky shape, doohickeys sticking out the side of very basic equipment, controllers that seem to have no rhyme or reason with the where they place things...

Until I try it out. I like to place faith in the brand spending extensive amount of time with gamers to best tailor every aspect of design to fit natural, human positions and expectations of how the hands will be most comfortably placed. Of course this faith has received a proverbial kick in the nads with how often I accidentally hit the side buttons while using my GX9.

Most Logitech mice are designed rather straightforward ... except the G9, imo. My Mionix NAOS 5000 is a world of difference from my G5, the MX518 I used for a bit, and my MX Revolution. It fits my hand perfectly, slopes where I need it, fucking double finger rests so ring/pinky isn't hanging off like a useless slab of meat twisting in the wind as I CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK.

To be honest, you may just be using it "wrong"; the G9/G9x is more suited for a claw grip than a palm grip and, honestly, it'd be pretty hard to accidentally press things on the side clawing it if I had to guess. Been awhile since I used a G9 though so I don't even remember the positions.

As for the keyboard, I'm just saying I'd rather have this:

Than it connected to the keyboard itself. They're really nice and comfortable and make sense for the games they're designed for so getting one isn't some "huh, why?" looks or anything. It's just a preference of mine that I'd bust it out when I'm FPSing or something rather than having it attached to the keyboard too.

I guess maybe if I FPS/MMO/etc. more often I'd be down for the all-in-one thing. I dunno?
