Re: Recent Purchases Thread
Those headphones look kind of boss. I want to know how it sounds.
Re: Recent Purchases Thread
I'll let you know once I break them in some more. I got them expecting punchy bass that doesn't bleed into the mids, some of the best sounding/crispest mids for the price range, and then decent highs. Yeah, not much to say about that treble. Do keep in mind the genres that you listen to, however; I do have a large Jpop/Kpop/etc. library of stuff which are mid-heavy so that greatly influenced my decision. A lot of classic and hard rock that these do good with as well and some various stuff (deadmau5 recently has been fun listens).
and Val Kolton (founder of V-Moda) is a regular poster there and talks about the design process decisions and so on. They're great for the low-end price range they're at ($200) and contenders to the HD 25-1 II and DT1350 while looking classier than either of them could hope for.
M-100s are supposedly coming out early 2012 and they're going to be over ear versions of the M-80 (which are on ears). Probably similar sound signature though some fine tuning with the M-80 knowledge in hand.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread
I've never seen it, either.
Although, one of my friends told me to watch it due to the inclusion of Thailand Kathoey/ladyboys
I take it he wasn't kidding.

Wasn't terrible, had some funny moments, I was drunk.
The third one doesn't really add to anything but I might as well be honest about things.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread
I dunno guys, I prefer Hangover 2 over the first one.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread
I've only seen the first one. I enjoyed it. My cousins went through a phase where they were obsessed with it and they played it every time I went to their house... but that didn't ruin my enjoyment of it.
I've heard that the second one is formulaically identical to the first, though. I dunno. I'd watch it.

Sorry for the double post here but-
Re: Recent Purchases Thread
Decided to impulse buy a DAC/AMP and ...
...
...a lot smaller than anticipated.
Word later on whether or not it was ~$90 well spent.
