Ah, so it's the original title you don't like much, not the translation itself. I dunno, I think it's okay. It is about characters trying to learn magic after all.

And as for K-On!, all the characters can be adorable. Mio's just a little better at it.

I guess it's just the age ol' case of the JP doesn't sound silly until you know what it means. Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou? Sure, it's wordy but whatever, JP MOON RUNES ETC. flavor going for it kind of thing. Just kind of read the translated title went, "...wow, that's a silly name. What was it? Yoku Waka...oh, it's literal."

Nothing against the series itself or how well the title meshes with the series or anything like that; I never finished it (or I did and I'm repressing some emotional scars or something) so I can't comment there.

Got Evolution Worlds and Samurai Shodown Sen because I had a giftcard, would've got KoFXI instead of SS:S, but they didn't have it. Didn't play Sen much yet, but so far it is not Samurai Shodown at all, Nakoruru doesn't even have Mamahaha and Rimururu doesn't have her ice ball. It's a completely different game that just happens to use the SS characters. Of course, I had been warned, but sometimes it's fun to play bad games too, you know?

I still wanna get KoFXI so I can try out Momoko and Malin, because they are cool.

I haven't watched it, but I'm surprised that no one's made a funny picture playing off the title's similarity to the name of .

Maybe there isn't enough fanbase overlap for that.

I'm sorry, i tried watching K-On!, but i stopped at the first half of episode 1.... :/
I mean, I can understand why some people may like it...but moeblobs aren't appealing to me *shrugs*
