Re: Recent Purchases Thread
@Ninten, Zeta, Zamisk: \o/ Yes we should all get together for that sometime. I like Louis, but it doesn't really matter to me who I am.
@Hanyou: I dunno about The God Delusion as a conversion tool for moderately to strongly religious people. From what I remember of my own reading, it's more targeted toward fence-sitters and agnostic atheists, in particular asking the stronger variety to adopt a more pragmatic and less rigidly principled position. That's the impression that's stayed with me, anyway, without going back and re-reading it. And "convert" is really just the wrong word, here, but that's a whole 'nother can of shit. Oh, and hi! Haven't seen you post in quite a while.
So, as for my own recent purchases:
1. Prescription sunglasses. Very nice.
2. More PVC figures. So currently, my reservation/release line-up for the next few months looks like this:
March -
April - (I missed the 2009 release, so yay for re-release!)

A bit of a shoddy photo, but The Singles album art contains some delicious Kino nightmare fuel.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread
Had the day off today, so I went downtown to grab lunch with my dad. On the way back I decided to stop at the comic book store I go to. Ended up picking up the first two issues of the Scarlet Spider, a new series. It's basically a more badass Spider-Man.
Unfortunately since I was so late in buying the first issue, they only had re-print copies with a variant cover. Oh well, not too big of a deal. Also, it's set in Houston, don't we have some people in Houston here? Cover pics below.

Ooh, ooh! I'm just west of Houston! I think it still counts. :3
Looks like a good selection, Zam-face.

Continuum Shift Extend and Tales of the Abyss
Re: Recent Purchases Thread
The lack of the Demon Compendium is just so wrong.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread
I have purchased Tales of the Abyss.
If this game does not please me I will find Scy IRL and cut him.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread
Why am I getting cut. I don't recall suggesting it with any sort of fervor.
Reminds me, I should probably buy a 3DS and it though.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread
The only game I've ever heard Scy constantly praising with any sort of redundancy is Trails in the Sky.
