EOI: Bought new shortly after release, got a 2nd copy used. Bought the JP version and guide.

EOII: Preordered two copies. Do not have the JP version, but have the JP preorder bonus.

EOIII: Preordered the NA and JP versions, both with respective bonuses. Plus I got a poster signed by Yuji Himukai, and promo screen cleaner + stylus.

I bought EO new, pre-ordered EO III and took forever and a half tracking down a used copy of EO II. I'm not really sure why I bought them out of order...

I bought EOII when it was relatively new, but didn't like it until like, a year later. I got EOIII when it was new, still no one.

Also, besides the usual stuff I'm getting for comics, I picked up this:



It's drawn by one of my favorite artists and written by a great author. Besides there being too much unnecessary language, it's so awesome so far.

EO1 I bought the European edition of, some time after it came out. It was new though, as were all my other EO games.

That's actually the fifth light novel, but there's a manga and an anime as well.

Summary from Wikipedia:



There's some basic medieval-y economics in the story, but there's a cute romance as well. The novels are short reads and about $10 on Amazon. I can't speak for the manga, as I haven't read it, but I've seen both seasons of the anime and they're very good.

I watched and liked the Spice & Wolf anime, but never really got into the novel (bought the first one, had a hard time getting 1/3 through and gave up). The manga's art looks really bad in my opinion though D;

And the fact that she looks more like a fox than a wolf really gets on my nerves...
