I went Black Friday shopping for the first time in my life. At midnight, because I could. I needed fancy clothes. I was a girl on a goddamn mission, and that mission was 50% off everything in the store.

Also this happened:

me: Parking lot is so full, jesus. Okay, wish me luck, I'm going in!
nathan: Knock 'em dead if you have to!
me: OHGOD SO MANY PEOPLE WHERE THE FUCK IS THE REST OF THE MALL I am stuck in Macy's I can't find the exit to the mall ohgod
me: I am going to die in this Macy's
nathan: It was nice knowing you.

The crazy usually isn't worth it for me. I just stay and home with hot tea and something to read.

I'd intended to go out and buy some electronics (I really need some headphones), but that just never materialized. Decided I'd rather spend more time with my kitten.

Cyber Monday everything you buy comes right to you, and you don't have to physically beat people over the head with the item you want to get the last one.

I could never stand black friday and I like working it ^_^.

I like Cyber Mondays...but this year, nothing caught my eye

I needed the interview suit that I wore yesterday. It was well worth it; I bought $120 in stuff and saved that much 'cause it was half priced

Black Friday's only ever been fun when I was doing it with family. In contrast, I typically like Cyber Monday but was simply not in the mood for it this year.

Yesterday my long awaited package from Play-Asia finally arrived. They wanted to verify my credit card first, first needing a photocopy, then a phone confirmation. That was the first time any online shop has tried calling me.

Anyways, on to the good stuff:

I bought some hand cream from a mall kiosk simply because the guy selling it was amazingly hot and had this really sexy accent and he lured me over and held my hand and rubbed it and looked deeply into my eyes and smiled and I fell in love for just a moment

wtf is wrong with me

But wait! There's more. I also got this:



A Wacom Bamboo Stylus Pocket. It's a rubber-tip stylus for finger-touchscreens, pocket edition. Teehee, no more fingerprints and smudges on my Vita's screen

Not lucky, I just know that Wacom know their stuff when it comes to styli. Theirs also came out as the best in some comparisons I checked. 's a link if you're curious. They're certainly not cheap, but I think their products are worth their price.
