It only took me ten years after getting my own desktop, but I finally bought myself a 16:9 monitor XD
Acer P246HL (24")
Got a sweet deal on it, but the default brightness options are a little high. Easily fixed using the brightness/contrast options.

Wouldn't you rather have a 16:10 one? It would have more vertical space.

The price was right, so I jumped on it.
I had been using a very old 4:3 monitor for ten years, so I don't really mind.

New shoes!
Likely the most thought put into purchasing my shoes. I mean, aside from my hanbok (which was crafted to fit me), I just buy whatever fits. For the past four or so years I have had a pair of basketball shoes. Good grip, comfortable (important if one intends to spend 8~ hours a day without the luxury of sitting), athletically sound (especially for climbing buildings) and the likes. But, you know, all things come to an end eventually, and wearing shoes with holes in the bottom is probably bad idea in a city with like six months of winter on a good year.
I would have done the same, but this place I went to works different. Cannot just go like "DO YOU HAVE THIS IN A SIZE NINE". Both feet are measured and most shoes there have a good selection of length and width. The latter is fairly important, because I have very wide feet. Good for martial arts, but not for shoes!
Also, velcro. Because we all know laces are just a stylistic form of slip-on.

1) Buy Spec Ops: The Line.
2) Discover game has arrived just as you're leaving the house.
3) Excited to go home and play Heart of Darkness the video game.
4) Remove plastic shrink wrap, open game case.
5) Spec Ops Box, Spec Ops Manual, Spec Ops DLC pack code
6) Halo: Anniversary Edition disc.
7) Wat.

If everyone who has worn hanbok had superpowers, all would be Korea.
Edit - Also, after an arm injury in November and some public disapproval, I am afraid my urban shenanigans are over. :(

tells me hanbok is the traditional Korean style of dress, but doesn't mention any footwear. What does it have to do with shoes?

Because the little shoes are a part of hanbok, since it would look strange to just wear sneakers or something with the rest of the outfit. Sort of like moccasins. They, like the rest of the outfit, were made/adjusted for me. To better understand, hanbok is a full set of attire, and not a single piece. To "put on your hanbok", would be like "put on your suit". All elements that go with it, including appropriate dress shoes, respectable effort put into the hair and/or cosmetics if that is your thing. Not really an expert of the Japanese, but an example this forum might understand better is festival kimono.
In any event, I have long since outgrown such clothing, though I suppose I can share my wardrobe some time after my face finishes healing and I am not so camera shy. The whole "discarding vanity" thing has not left a lot of variety. :b

Big maybe. If I do not like the work prospects in Seoul or Wigan, I will just stay in Winnipeg. A lot of good going on, as far as quality of life is concerned. Even if I move to another region, having the time to reflect has left me feeling it is all rather too silly to be doing things like that in a modern era. Especially at my age. :/ Suppose it was fun to be able to do something to entertain others, though I hate attention.
Edit -
