One of the most stiff controllers I have ever purchased under a professional brand. There is a reason why they no longer officially sell these things. Avoid it unless you just want something cheap (read:$10) for games that do not require responsiveness to begin with. Mechanical keyboard is better for puzzles.

Livewires by Marvel. It's a 6-issue series about a blackops team of androids who go around destroying other blackops tech in the market and it's entirely awesome. One of the best series I've read. The best part? I found each issue in the dollar bin at my comic store. 6 bucks for an AMAZING series. I have read it twice in the past hour since I bought it.

Some of these were recommended to me by my bookstore's resident grizzled old comic book guy and some of them I picked up almost at random because they looked interesting and were number one in the series or a one-shot. Most of them I paid less than 25 cents for:

Been meaning to pick up Civil War for a long time now. Finally started!



I really enjoyed these four! Despite how indecisive and emo she sometimes was, I want to find out more about Dazzler and I'm terribly curious as to what becomes of Link and Poltergeist...


EDIT: Oh! And I got my roommate started on The Runaways. AND! My new favorite comic book shop (right around the corner from my new apartment) is ordering the Serenity hardcover I'm missing. : D : D : D Also, the manager randomly offered me a part time job there but I can't do it 'cause it'd be a conflict of interest on account of I work at Half Price Books and they sell comics. /sadface

Oh man, that reminds me. I should really read The Runaways. I read Volume 2 in high school and it's kinda stuck with me. I even named one of my favorite Pokemon ever after Molly. (Granted, it didn't become my favorite until AFTER I named it, but still.)

Next time you go in, get the 6-issue series Livewires, Trif. It's EXCELLENT. Anyways, all I've read of that is the Civil War (I read all of it, don't remember which issue that is in particular.) And Secret Invasion. I'm not crazy about Marvel events in general, but I liked the Runaways/Young Avengers tie ins to both of those two events. I own them all, haha. Anyways, some of those have amazing covers. And LUCKY you for living so close to a comic store. An employee at mine said I'd probably get a job if I apply after the summer like I said I might.
