After fuming out the rage of my preorder cancellation, I've finally bought Etrian Odyssey IV.




Of course I'll probably just wait until all of the super OP stuff has been found and figuring out how to pace my for-fun writing a story of it without burning myself out pacing between keyboard and slightly damaged 3DS.

Picked up two sets of PAX passes (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). I can't go this year, on account of when the school year starts for high school kids, but I knew someone I know would need some passes.

Edit: Went back and picked up 2 monday passes as well. Its unbelievable how fast this show sells out now, but the Washington State Convention Center is such a back water compared to facilities elsewhere. The convention is going to have to move sooner or later if they ever want to expand.

Rhythm and I went halfsies on King of Fighters XIII.

KoF XIII is goodstuff, I will fight you.

Unless you got it for PS3, then I won't.

I buy all my multiplayer games for Xbox, because most of my friends don't have PS3s.

I waited in line for the 360's launch, and I've never paid for a single day of Xbox Live.

I hope you have a fight stick, because the 360 has the worst D-pad in the history of mankind (and I doubt the Virtual-On Twin Stick would be very useful in a fighter, lol).

I use a fightpad, I also have an arcade stick, but I mostly use that for shmups.

Picked up a SteelSeries Sensei today while I was at Best Buy for a USB hub.

^_^ The guy was super sweet. The copy of the game was one he actually had on reserve. Apparently he had lost his copy and put this one on reserve for himself, but he found his copy the day before I called. Since he obviously no longer needed it, he gave it to me. <3

And my 3DS grows a little larger.

I ALMOST purchased another game right then and there. o_o They had KH:DD on the shelf for $20. .... A part of me still regrets not picking it up, but... I now own 3 3DS games I've not completed yet. I HAVE TO PACE MYSELF >_<

My usb controller is a Microsoft Sidewinder Freestyle Pro my dad had in a box. You can't really use it for anything besides racing games and sidescrollers and fighters because it has only one d-pad and the the gyroscopic movement.
