I bought a sort of expensive bottle of Lagavulin 17 year old scotch to give to my boss to celebrate her wife having twins just the other day.

It felt very grown up and strange, but she was really pleased, so that was cool.

There are so many good things in that post.

I haven't really bought anything in a while, but since everyone's showing off their mugs...

I don't like coffee or tea, but if I do need to use a mug I use this one:



I have other mugs that I prefer, but are too collectible to actually use, my favourite being:

Somewhere along the way, mugs became a thing I like to collect. I may in fact be the most boring person alive.

Aperture as in Portal? That one has a different logo, doesn't it?

It's supposed to be a 1970s style mug, so maybe that's why the logo is different? I haven't played much of Portal 2, I'll admit.

Next week I'll have a couple of mugs with custom prints to show you guys, one of them is even Etrian Odyssey, along with four different mousepads.

My cups and mousepads arrived today!

I knoooow, but my friend lured me into it with the promise of coffee. :3 A very good start to my day!

I got:

-the new Ms. Marvel trade (I am obsessed with this girl)
-the latest Ms. Marvel single issue (#9)
-the last two issues of the recent Death of Wolverine run
-the two latest Doctor Who issues
-issue #1 of Hawkeye VS Deadpool
-and #1 of the new Thor FEATURING A NEW LADY THOR HELL YES!

How good is that art for Wolverine? Hawkeye/Deadpool looks like fun. Oh, and let me know how Thor is, hey?
