? How is that cute? It's true.
You sit down on the couch or the bed, pull a blanket up to your chin so as to keep yourself all covered, but then you have to put your arms above the blanket to hold the DS or PSP or a book, or if you're watching anime, you still need one arm free to press the spacebar to pause it once in a while. So sleeves attached to the blanket are actually a great idea.

Over here, snuggies are seen as a really hilarious joke item that everyone mocks -- even though everyone agrees it is like greatest invention ever. But, yeah, the joke is that ITS A BLANKET WITH SLEEVES! as if that's a bad thing.
At least, that's how I feel it is interpreted among people I know.

My first reaction to the snuggie was that it was a great "why didn't I think of that" idea. I do not understand the mocking. Indeed, Kino, "IT'S A BLANKET WITH SLEEVES HAHAHA" as if that were a bad thing.

Now they need to combine the blanket-with-a-pocket-for-your-feet with the blanket-with-sleeves to truly create something that I must own.
But, yeah, I'm secretly wanting a snuggie for christmas

The GitS one is broken due to hotlinking restrictions on the site hosting it (as is likely the case with broken images in previous posts).
I would suggest copying and reuploading the images to one of various image hosting sites, like imgur.com, as a workable solution to this problem.

Yah, I know it's because of referrer mismatches that images don't work sometimes. It's hard to test though, because the browser's cache intervenes.
But I'm not going to put all of them on my Photobucket account just for one post.
ETA: Hah, figured out how to get resized images without the whitespace out of Amazon. No more image troubles from now on

Oh, forgot to post that I also got this the other day:
That completes my Crest/Banner Of The Stars collection. Well, as far as they were released on DVD that is. Banner III and the OVAs aren't available.

Haibane Renmei and Whisper of the Heart are both amazing show/film, although I prefer Haibane over Whisper. I'm still yet to watch GitS and Pom Poko and have noc are for My Hime.
I just bought Autobiography of a Geisha, which is awesome and a new set of rechargeable batteries.

It's My-Otome actually (notice the 乙). Mai-HiME was so-so. I didn't like where the plot went in the second half of the series, and the fanservice of course. The first half was otherwise quite good. My-Otome is a lot better.

Didn't notice that Kimiko!
Just bought House of Many Ways, a sequel to Howl's Moving Castle.

Wait, there's a companion book and a sequel... which one did you get? The companion is like same-universe but different characters, I think, whereas the sequel actually has Howl and Sophie in it.

The actual sequel, I'll get the companion after
