So he becomes something of a Red Mage character? When does this sidequest become available and what levels should my characters be when I take it on?

And from what I hear, Sampson focuses more on inflicting harmful status effects on the enemies, and has a fairly powerful skill chain, Trauma, in which he reads aloud a piece of fiction he has written, harming the opponents with non-elemental damage. However, his teammates take a small amount of damage, too.

Is this true?

Be sure to equip Kimiko with the glasses accessory. It improves her archery skills dramatically.
