Picross! I want that.
Bought myself two games with birthday money:
Been playing A Witch's Tale and it is very adorable so far. I like the Halloween witch/vampire/pumpkins art theme, and the first world is Sweets themed, so full of candy soldiers and such. The controls are completely touch screen which seems to work well; you drag attack icons around and menu navigation is very simple. The magic attacks are on a wheel that you can spin around, which is neat, and it keeps your spot, so if you're spamming fire on someone it's fast and easy to do so.
But mostly it's super cute.

I recently purchased a ticket to Iron Man 2, which, in spite of having an insane amount of "movie logic," is probably the most awesome thing I've ever seen in a movie theater. The special effects, the music, even the acting--it was just cool. n_n
Doesn't come close to topping Batman Begins as my favorite "super"hero film, but it's definitely better than the first Iron Man. I know nothing about the comics, so I can't speak for how faithful it is.
Also, it was nice to see a movie with a libertarian theme for once. In terms of thematic elements, it's like Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman, and Ron Paul got together and decided to make a stupid summer film for the kids (yeah, yeah, I know Rand hated libertarians, but still...). Crazy shit. Go capitalism.
Despite being a hater of comics turned movies and just the whole comic genre - I enjoyed the first Iron Man, myself. I, too, am interested in seeing Iron Man 2. But I'll wait. My dad will doubtlessly buy the DVD.
