All caught up on The World Only God Knows (...>>). /wrists since now I'm waiting for weeklies. Oh well. <3 Haqua.

Everything (everything, everything, everything) involving Yui is ridiculous amounts of cross-dressing and subversions. And Shiori is adorable, thought bubbles and all.

I have to ask though ... how can you hate Kanon? If it's an Anime-only deal (or if you haven't ... read the manga) you may not want to read the following~
[spoiler]She has her capture arc of prototypical "idol scared of being unknown" + fucking tasers. And then does nothing, confesses, and gets fucking stabbed and is basically the McGuffin of the Goddess/Recapture arc. She doesn't have enough screen time for hatred ^^

I'm still sad the Kasuga sisters aren't more relevant :( I like them both so much more than Ayumi and Chihiro~~~~

...though, liking someone more than Chihiro kind of feels like the point...

Incidentally, I can't not picture Yui as a female (...?) Kratos now that she's revealed as the god(dess) of War. [/spoiler]

How the fuck does Iris Zero become a detective manga? Or is this like the most misleading synopsis in the world lol.

Yeah, now that I started it I totally see it. Just based off the synopsis* I was like "...but ... that's standard romcom..." and had flashes to Medaka Box genre shifts (...does ...does Medaka Box even count as a genre shift?) and my head hurt at trying to out-meta myself.

I'm reading The World God Only Knows (Thanks, Scy) and (Which is amazing, you should all read it.)

The basic outline of the story is this: There was this country, Jushin, based on feudal Korea, that had these special agents called Angyo Onshi that carried medallions and punished these corrupt government officials. After Jushin fell, there was only one Angyo Onshi left, Munsu, and he goes around trying to restore order while trying to track down his sworn enemy, the god-like Aji Tae.

I'm not really giving it a great summary, but it's really amazing.
