Eh, I'm a generally nice enough person to hold a conversation on basically any subject regardless of my level of interest. There may be a disinterested comment but ... why be a dick about it, y'know? I'm certain they're occasionally dealing with the same level of failure to care at some point when I'm talking.

For instance, I also have a friend who lives and breathes Halo. He's made the armor and props for it and shit like that. I think he was actually on one of the Halo photoshoots they did for their little Halo portal thing. He's my roommate.

I've been the driver/camera guy for him showing up to launch day shenanigans. Many gaming references he does will lead back to Halo somehow, someway. My general interest in Halo was basically drunk multiplayer. Hell, I've really only finished one Halo title. Doesn't really stop me from doing these things for him or talking with him about it.

I'm sure you can at least hold an intellegant conversation with him, and for that I envy you. This person never receives anyone else's point of view and his first reaction to an argument is a "your mom" "joke". I was also pretty tired then, and I get pretty cranky when i'm tired, usually I just listen, like roselhort, but with much less interest.

I love people. Plain and simple. I have to be presented with a supremely foolish or supremely evil person before I have a hard time making conversation.

I'm Irish, I was born there, and I was raised in the Irish fashion. I have what they claim my filthy people have as our only gift. I can talk to anyone. And I love to do it.

Wants to start a violent argument -> Messages a diehard dubstep fan with "EarthBound invented dubstep." -> Sits back and relaxes while watching as he rages and rages about how wrong I am.

R:"What?"
Me:"That thing where you go around yelling and being angry all the time? What's it called?"
E:"Bitching?"
Me:"Yeah! That! Why do you do it all the time? Is it like some disease or something? Do guys get it too? I hope not..."
R:"..."

Everybody bitches about something. Everybody. I'm pretty sure that's a basic tenet of existence.
