Me: So there's apparently a lot of Captain America/Iron Man homoeroticism in Marvel canon. Someone on my forum linked me to a whole page of relevant comic scans.
Him: Really? How much of that is like, Batman and Robin out of context stuff?
Me: In the earlier stuff it's most Batman/Robin misunderstandings, but in later stuff it's deliberate teasing and sexual banter. Iron Man totally flies around with his arms around Captain America, 'cause he's can't fly, and it's like "hey baby." Totally hot.
Him: So, wait, in costume? Because I can't imagine that being hot with Iron Man in his suit. You can't even see his face.
Me: Oh, no, I mean, they know each other's secret identities. They're out of costume a lot.
Him: That makes sense. So, should I buy you an issue of Captain America now?
Me: Yeah, like if there's one where he kisses Iron Man. Totally buy me that one.
Him: Sure.
