It's 2010. Aren't we supposed to have global weather control yet? You know, the kind where it's 20⁰C year round and only rains at night?

68F all year would not make me happy. Sometimes I like to wear sweaters and long socks and cute jackets and scarfs and things. If it never got colder than, like 48 or 52 degrees I'd be pretty happy though. And no cold wind! Actually, no strong wind at all would be nice.

FYI, this is what it looks like right now outside the house here in Eden Prairie, MN.

Ain' goin' nowhere.

Kind of envy you negzee. I love the snow.

Actually I generally loathe warm weather. I will take rain and snow all damn year, also all my favorite clothes involve cold weather. Peacoats, top coats, suits. So fucking hard to wear a damn black suit during the summer, even in Seattle. Once it pushes over 75 I'm out. Glad I spent the hottest part of this summer in Ireland.

Yeah, no one was hurt, thankfully. The place was empty. They did capture some footage of the collapse as it happened from inside the stadium, though. Pretty neato.

First Emrin: Yep, sounds like a Rant to me :3 the perfect place to get something like this off your chest!

Now, I dunno if I'm a good judge for this, either, but:

I'm kinda the same way. I open my mouth and say whatever is on my head. Part of me thinks "who the hell am I to say this to them" but the other half of me is really really happy I said it.

First: It's a tribute to your own personality. You're being true to yourself. It's the way it should be. (I say this and then think: God, but what if Emrin is an unbelievable bastard who SHOULD keep his mouth shut ^_^; )

Second: I think it is better to say something to someone, even if it comes out all wrong and screwed up, than to say nothing at all. Otherwise, the person then thinks "Tch, no one even cares what the hell I'm doing." Which, in my experience, is an even darker place to go than a million and one words spoken from someone who cares. Also, I think everyone realizes the fact that 'he said it because he cares.' Maybe it's not what they really wanted to hear, but sometimes sugat coated truth is just nasty to swallow anyways.

It's a hard decision, whether to open your mouth or not. I like to think that it's better to say something. And even once it's said, make sure that the person knows that it's because you care about them. Don't just offer them words, but hang around them. Try to take them out of that situation with not only words but actions.

I've had friends that just like to hear me say something to them, my honest opinion, and personally I always walk away feeling "god, I think that came out so wrong. I just didn't know what to say." But they've always thanked me for those conversations as if my words did help a lot. o_O I don't think it was anything I said that was so fantastic but maybe just put their own life a different view. Like, they were already probably thinking the things that I said to them, but hearing it come from me, a different person, was the slap in the face they needed.

Of course, this could just be an excuse I've created for myself because I just cannot keep my mouth shut. IF I HAVE AN OPINION I'M GOING TO EXPRESS IT, DAMMIT!!

Knowing when not to express yourself is a useful skill.

Emrin, you should definitely try to set yourself straight before anything. But if you truly believe that she'd stopped caring about herself, if you truly believe that she is changing for the worse, and if you truly wanted her to know that YOU feel just as responsible, YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO TELL HER THAT. Because no matter where you are in life, if you believe in something, you can say it with every fiber of honesty. And this time, I think it was for the best that you did.
