I get the feeling that's not directed at any of us. Full story Nessy?

I agree Maxime, I feel like that was definitely aimed outside of the forum.

Sorry lol. I'm good now. This guy from school posted on my (completely unrelated) Facebook status challenging my beliefs with a stupid video and I guess trying to provoke a response, and it really pissed me off. It raised some legitimate questions, I suppose, but the guy who made the video was a pretentious asshole who basically just thinks Christians are delusional and it's harmful to us and to society or something. I thought about all the questions logically, and I really don't think I'm just making stupid rationalizations like he said. I really don't think I'm being closed-minded about this, and I really don't want to stoop to this guy's level. Hopefully my response won't make him think he got under my skin, because once I got over my initial anger, I'm really quite glad he gave me a chance to question what I believe in and understand why I believe what I do. It's good to know that I have an actual reason, not just "because my parents said so" or anything.
tl;dr Janessa is ok.

And I love you all. <3

>_> I hate it when people attack my religion as well, Ness. I'm a VERY open minded christian myself, but there's a difference between someone challenging you with legitimate questions and someone just being a prick. I like it when a person respectfully challenges my concepts. It gets me thinking and often reaffirms the wonder within the religion.
If others are just trying to insult us, then it's just because they want find something to insult. They are insulting christians for being christians the same they would insult a fat person for being fat.
Yes, sometimes it might feel we are just trying to make clumsy rationalizations, but anyone who truly believes in a religion understands the desperation in it. We are trying to believe in a concept far bigger than our puny mortal minds. If they cannot understand, it's because they have not felt or been interested in sharing in God's love.

And for that, I think it's really sad. They are missing in on something truly wonderful. The only thing we can do is smile, try our best to take their insults, and continue arguing back in a vain attempt to try to share some of God's light.

I'm pretty open-minded too. I used to not be, but over the last couple of years I've definitely become more so. I agree with everything you just said, thanks.

I'm glad someone doesn't think I'm crazy lol.

... Unless you manually partitioned the (probably single) hard disk in your computer for some particular reason, "JUST the system partition" in most cases is the only partition and is thus equivalent to "the whole computer".

I had no way of checking that seeing as it was my PS3 hard drive. What I read was just a forum post saying that core system data and game save data were kept in different partitions.

Ah, it was your PS3. Not sure how the hdd on that is normally organized.

There's only the one partition and all documentation on formatting the PS3 that I know of is pretty clear on it nuking everything but the PS3 OS.
