I don't get how anyone could put anyone down at all for the sake of "lulz". To me, it's not funny and I would feel disgusted with myself afterwards.
"Tranny" is considered an offensive word?
:\ Uggg, what are the appropriate terms to call transexuals without coming off as offensive? I've used tranny in the past just because I didn't feel like typing out a few extra letters.
<_< *sigh* I hope I've never offended anyone accidentally with my ignorance.

Oh, don't worry about it, Maxine. It's like the word "dyke," which some people use casually in company they know is comfortable with it. But it can be, and is, used as a slur as well.
You mean well and are sensitive about it, and that is always good and welcome.
As for the lulz thing . . . I dunno, some places really value banter highly and judge people by how well they can troll or counter-troll, and on not "ruining the joke."
Even when many of those people themselves can't even take a joke, or sometimes even recognize one.

Aww, I'm sorry, Jube.

You know we all love you here at least.

I know employers usually call you in at inconvenient times, but when your employer is your own father, there is no excuse for a heads-up the day before not being given. =_= I hate how my paents just assume that because I write and play games, I don't have plans. The writing is usually part of my plans and it gets really annoying when I cannot work on it on the days I can.

Goddamn it is hot here right now. The ouside thermometor is hovering at around 48C. Inside we don't have a thermometor, but we don't have an air-conditioner (well, technically we do have one, it's just broken) so I would guess it's a little over 50C. I hate summer.
