I took Accutane when I was 15, and my younger brother actually took it twice. I had no real problems, except it did raise my triglycerides a good deal while I was on it, but my brother had a lot of rage while he was on it.
It completely cleared up my clinical acne, though, and what would have been terrible, terrible acne with a lot of facial scarring was basically just an awkward period for me. I was a chubby gay nerd in high school; I didn't need the terrible acne on top of it, so I was thankful it worked well for me. Since then, I have only ever had the occasional zit that everyone gets- usually when I'm sick.
Now, years later, I hear all these horror stories and I'm like "wow, this is crazy".

acne goes away and is then replaced by wrinkles~
Anywho, I had AWEFUL acne as a teenager. Did NOT help my crappy social status, especially when I have the habit when I'm annoyed to scratch at my forehead and I always ended up making it bleed
Considering I work at a fast food I'm shocked that I don't get more zits than I do. Once in a while I'll get a few nasty ones and have to apply whatever is currenlty in the bathroom, but only one application and it's better and is clearing.
