[hide]I know this is purposely vague. I know you are all going to ask "what's wrong" but could you do me a favor and don't. I don't want to answer. 'Cause if I have another person say "Penna, that's not right, you should go to the doctor's." I'm seriously going to lose my mind. I went to a free clinic last night and the doctor there just gave me some pain management ideas and some ideas on how to tackle the no-health insurance issue. Just... leave me alone about it.[/hide]
bah, I hate catching up on sleep all at once. And I have no idea if I was so OUT OF IT because I was so sleep deprived or if it were the amount of pills he allowed me to take. I think it was the sleep deprivation. Whatever. No pain. It felt good last night to get some sleep, though it was still a kind of light sleep with always the pain in the back of my mind so I still wake up with a bit of a headache and the feeling I could still sleep for a few more hours.
Think I might just tell my sisters to leave me alone and just let me heal today. I feel bad.
It's St Pat's day parade today and Tia was hoping we would go. >_< F-ing hell. But I need to make sure I'm better by Monday so it doesn't affect work and I don't get more questioning stares or get reminded for the 50th time by a girl named Christina "go to the doctors, Penna."
I have one more semester. Think I'm going to see what I can do to sign up and see if my schedule would allow me to work at my sister's job which A) pays better B) does things in my field of interest C) I just sit and talk on phones all day as opposed to running around like a fool

So yeah, I recently got my Dawn Warrior to 120 on Maple Story. Had to do a few quests to get it ready for Ultimate Explorers that got released earlier this week.
To get one, you just need to get 10 Peridots from Harps or Blood Harps in Leafre. Sounds easy, right?
...THE DROP RATE ON THOSE PERIDOTS ARE ABYSMAL AS CRAP!!!
I'm not lying when I say it took my DW about 5 hours to get all 10 Peridots. I wish I was kidding.
SERIOUSLY WHO GOT THE MASOCHIST BUG AS AND WANTED TO LAUGH HIS/HER REAR OFF IN MAKING THIS QUEST?!?
As if that wasn't bad enough, if you're a regular explorer, you can initiate a quest to get a special skill from one of the Cygnus Knights depending on your class.
Gotta get 20 Lunar Dews from wabbits in Ariant.
Catch?
...They have a LOWER DROP RATE THAN THE ****DAMNED PERIDOTS AAAGGGHHHH!!! Luckily I don't need to suffer through this for any characters I have, but...geez.
Oh wait yeah to level up the skill by 1 every 10 levels you gotta do this quest again or something very similar to it.
...So do I go smack whomever designed this quest with my Z-Saber now or later?
At least if you're an UE, the Cygnus skill you get will level up automatically every 10 levels, maxing out at lv100. No horsecrap bullblasting retarded quest trickery to do.

that's why sunday school exists
way back when I went to a Quaker church, the kids would only be there to sing the first songs, then all the kid would be called to the front, where we would be given a message about the world or culture or something we could understand. Then we'd be sent to our classrooms where we'd be taught basic lessons from major bible stories. I had my grandparents keep me in with the adults once just to see what it was like, and I didn't understand any of it. Now if I'm going to church, that's all I want to do. I don't like youth groups or worship music, I just want to read from the Bible and see what the pastor says about what the stories mean, and try to figure out what that means for me.
And even that bugs me sometimes, because the pastor often rubs his own biases in with the message. I don't want to hear about how rock music is demonic, and I don't appreciate you preaching that to everyone, thank you....

Talking with my friend about our good ol' friend, who's now his girlfriend and my ex... We're all still friends, but I'm stil hurting a bit. So, he's saying that he's unable to think straght with the paranoia he has from being honest with her about her spaceyness (which does get on both of our nerves).
This girl takes everything to heart and usually needs a good pep talk to get her back on her feet. Now, I feel a bit bad, because when he described his paranoia, I asked him, "Do you want to know what that sounds like?" Prety much, I thought the exact same things as him before this girl broke up with me. XP
So, I explained that it was just about a month, before she broke up with me and he says it was longer than that for them... That made me twitch. Getting shown up by him is one thing, but it's that he's obviously better at being a boyfriend than me...
I want to help him, but fighting my own envy and the fact this girl's been giving me the shaft when it comes to talking to me and him lately has made me rather, "We're in the same boat, bud. at least you got something worth your paranoia... Mine ended in July." This girl is totally worth all these feelings, but... yeah...
I'm confusing myself.
