My friends joked I should just build in the box the parts came in. I could use my old Antec 300 but it's going to get a few TBs slapped in it and used to store things so I don't want to disassemble it just to put my new computer in there for a few days. Too much of a pain in the ass when I can just be patient.
Though I really, really wish all the parts had come, say, next Monday and not earlier this week. I have a brand new shiny SSD to play with (my first SSD oh joy!) and an i5-2500K to overclock. And a Radeon 6950 to [s]have sex with[/s] [s]hold softly[/s] fuck it.

@negzee Oh, no problem. Marking the quote better is still good to do when it's from an older page.
@Drathi Without knowing the details, based on what I've read, I'd not say it's beyond making up yet. But whatever effort you want to make should not be aimed where it can knock down even more things. Effort alone is useless if you don't avoid being counterproductive.
Also, expecting that one's patience will pay off in the end actually drains one's patience faster, I find. A level head, and consciously avoiding sources of disappointment, may dampen frustration.
