So, how likely is it one would get a worm or other malware from simply opening a spam email with no attachments, images, or links?

I noticed a couple of weird emails last night in my priority inbox, and clicked one without really thinking about it. Both had no attachments or links, and had kinda gibberishy contents and subjects. I figure they were spams sent to fish for active adresses, and I've noticed no slowdown or strange activity since then.

I think it's just weird for a spam to show up as a priority email.
