Re: Rant/Complain Thread: BUMMER IN THE SUMMER~
Too many posts to catch up with. Still have work to do. Should not be here. Wish there were a "mark all posts as read" button.

Like the Mark forums read one?
Re: Rant/Complain Thread: BUMMER IN THE SUMMER~
I'm about to be rockin' two jobs (assuming my interview tomorrow goes well and I get the office manager job that was kinda sorta somewhat promised to me).
I felt so bad about leaving the bookstore (8 other people have resigned in the past week due to school and relocations), so I offered to work weekends and maybe do some shelving in the evenings.
Immediately following my interview tomorrow I will be driving for three hours to Victoria in order to stage a sort of "drug intervention" with my ex-stepdad. It'll probably be horrible and awkward and full of tears. And he probably won't choose rehab. Either way, my brother will be coming home with me on my return trip.
It's a good thing my brother is coming to live with us. Someone's going to have to take over all the cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping since I'll constantly be either working or sleeping. D :
Sigh. At least it'll be nice not to worry about money anymore. : 3

Get new laptop instead of new desktop?
@Trifkin - That's a lot of working.

@Scy - <3 The sentiment is felt.
@PLA - Sure is! It's a good thing I haven't got any hobbies or outside interests, like reading, knitting, watching anime, studying languages, gardening... Wait. Oh, f***!
@Roselhort - xD Ahahaha, awesome. Nice post.

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: BUMMER IN THE SUMMER~
So I had to open today, which is annoying, but my consolation is that opening shift comes in 2 hours early -- and gets to leave 2 hours early.
But my other two co-workers are both out of town today, so it was just me and boss-lady.
And my boss's daughter is in town, and her husband has the week off from work, so she wanted to skip out to go to the beach/spend time with them.
My boss is pretty damn chill about letting me have time off and a really great boss overall, so I'm like "No worries, I got this!"
But I assumed she'd just leave for the afternoon and come back at 3:45 so I could go home.
It's nearly 4:45. She's not here. I sent her an email being like "Um, am I closing now?"
Which is fine, I guess. It's extra money... But... I mean... I thought I'd get to go home early...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: BUMMER IN THE SUMMER~
My brother's car broke down, axle dropped out, scraped a bunch of metal shavings out of the wheel, can't steer it at all.
Also my hand's been bothering me lately, caught it on a door handle at the post office, thought I just scraped it, but it still hurts when I move it certain ways even though it's been days, I think I'll have it looked at if it doesn't stop soon.
