I always roll my eyes at people who hate homosexuality but claim to be fine with gay people. Like, "I think two dudes kissing is GROSS" but in the same breath will be like "But I don't hate gay people"
My fiance is of the attitude that if he can "tell" that someone is gay he thinks poorly of them for "flaunting" their sexuality. I just roll my eyes.
'Tis the South.

ALL GAY MEN ARE PEDOPHILES YUKYUK
The whole "OMG MEN = RAPIST/MURDERER" thing is outrageous. "Stranger danger" is likewise over sensationalized. You know who is most likely to rape/kill/abuse a child? Its parents, followed swiftly by stepdad/boyfriend, other relatives, etc.

If you pay any attention, heterosexuality is actually very much flaunted. It's everywhere, in-your-face.

OMG, so today I was making a cake, and I'd spent a bit of time putting the ingredients together. Actively trying to make this cake very unhealthy and very chocolatey, which is cool as I'm good at baking. I put the melted chocolate into the cake mix and continue to whiz it around and then I fold it into a greased baking tin.
I gently lift the tin up, as it was very full and there was no drips - excellent. I then get it over to the already pre-heated open over and the thing just opens on itself and cake mix goes everywhere! Now that alone pissed me off something chronic, but then I realised that it's managed to get underneath my oven! The worst part is, you can't even get access to where it's gotten to as the design of the kitchen/oven bit is so crappy. So unimpressed.
So then Carn and I spend the next 2 hours trying to clean the fucking mess up, she managed to get the glass off of the front of the oven so that we had slightly easier access to the grooves, but even then it stank of massive fail as we had to tear bits of cleaning cloth up and wrap it around chopsticks as the grooves are so thin.
Grrr, so annoying as I wanted to eat cake! Now I don't want to bake as one, it's 2130 and two I'm annoyed at the oven.
Oh and we decided to bathe the kitties today and Butters decided it would be fun to try and kill Carn and Kiki managed to put his claws right into my arm and add another puncture wound to my collection

. Bah, crappy Saturday.

My parents are being pushy about the wedding.
Also I came up with a really cute guestbook idea and my mom was totally repulsed by it. BAH!
