Zamisk, at least you have grandparents that give a damn about you and do not show favoritism over you with your other cousins. *shrugs* The most I get from them is a $25 check for every birthday that they've given to me ever since I was 5. It's a nice gesture, I suppose, but I would quite honestly like something more... personable than that. I'm not just something they can throw money at as if that's going to win my love. Meh, there's a lot of other crap that they have done to us over our lives that in no way helps their case. You'd think I should get over about half of it by now but seriously, the shit hurts. No matter what package it came in.

Sorry for having to whine and moan after not having been around for literally months, but I just eh. University has been kicking my ass consistently - the last semester has gimped my cumulative GPA considerably though I barely made it out (still no failures thus far, thankfully) though this term seems pretty adamant on trying to ruin my mental stability. I also hate being made the de facto leader of basically every single project I've been in ever since I first entered university last year, since I have to basically be a surrogate mother to all my teammates and run after them and nag them and whyyyyy do I have to put up with this.

Blaaaaah. That and I'm trying to struggle with my shitty living conditions, and my dysfunctional parents who don't know if they want to kill each other or love each other and blaaaaaaaargh.
