Originally they were going to pay for the wedding, which is cool, considering I have like 90 of my own family to invite, let alone my fiance's half of the guestlist.

Anyway, if they refuse to pay for it because they're so insulted by what I want to do, than we'll just elope or postpone the wedding until after grad school.

The downside to international elopement is the legal hoops you have to jump through.

Oh, a lot of places have waiting periods and things like that. I know that "Destination Weddings" to caribbean locations have anywhere from 1-3 day waiting periods, so I don't know if the EU has rules like that.

Anyway I'd rather just postpone the wedding until after my fiance finishes grad school than run off and elope.

And I'd rather my parents just stop being crazy.

And my parents I mean mostly my mother, who is crazy.

If I had been told I was going to have 5 viles of blood taken today, I would've told my work ahead of time and not looked like a prat. I would also have eaten breakfast rather than running out of the door and then passing out in the blood taking room from lack of everything.
