Thanks, I appreciate it, but I don't need the help. (Now at least.) I'm pretty good with Social Studies, it was just the amount of work to do that sucked. Anyway, we're just finishing up the unit on Greece and Rome.

Although the Greeks were institutionalized pederasts (yay for sex with pubescent boys!) and Roman sexuality was more of "fucker" and "fuckee" than anything remotely approaching the type of committed, homosexual relationship you're talking about. Romans didn't really care what you put your dick into, so long as you were putting your dick into it -- slaves, women, boys, trees, horses, whatever. Just so long as you're the one penetrating. To be penetrated is to be weak and passive. A woman.

And talk about oppression of women! Both societies took the asshole approach to women, Sparta excluded, but Sparta was fucking awesome. CRAZY AWESOME I MEAN.

Frankly I think the Greeks were more advanced when they were the Minoans. Bull-jumping and indoor plumping and titty-showing dresses and snake-goddesses and Priestess-Queens and rights for women FUCK YEAH GO MINOANS.
