No, I'll stop the joke right there because it's pretty crappy, but for some reason, that's the first thing that jumped into my head. ^_^

No, I'm not pregnant. Although that is also the first thing that pops into people's heads when I say I'm not drinking right now.

I've taken a personal vow of complete sobriety until I complete my classes.

I haven't had so much as a sip in over 4 months. >___o;; Including when I went home for 4th of July and my brother offered me all his delicious homebrew... and I had to decline. WAAAAHHH

Although since I can't drink, I've been getting my fun by DD-ing and making sure everyone around me gets thoroughly drunk instead.

Oh, on the matter of the karaoke bar...

You guys know I've only been drunk once and would never want to ever again, though I would hate to not drink even a single drink. :O

I don't want to get drunk, that's not it, it's just that I really love beer. I love the way it tastes, I love the different styles and types and I love to try new beer.

Not getting to have any beer, not even one with dinner, is awful. I hate it. But! I don't mind. I was the designated driver for 4 of my friends last night. People know they can always count on me for a ride.

And when this is all over, my husband is going to owe me so many nights as DD it isn't even funny.

=_= So, I decide to try contacting my Math teacher to express my concern about my math grade and possibly get some help to raise it. I only need 1 math course, as I mentioned earlier, to graduate.

The problem:

1. He has no e-mail to contact him with.
2. All of his office hours are during one of my classes.

My problem with math is that I understand it. I can tell you what you have to do, but when I do it myself, I fall on my face.

Extremely annoyed at friend who kissed other friend at that rave. He's still moping about her even though I think it's pretty clear to me and our other friends that my friend does not have feelings for him. The other night, we went clubbing, said two friends also come along, guy friend takes ecstasy and kisses friend (who goes wtf, as do we). Friends had to put him in a corner so he doesn't do any other stupid shit. Later, another friend tries to take care of him that night but he texts his crush, pretending that everyone's abandoned him (even though he was being taken care of) just so that she goes to him. Additionally, he tried to coax my friend who was taking care of him into going into bed with him, amongst other stuff.

So frustrated with him right now. I don't want to be friends with someone who's so impulsive and selfish that he cannot see how his actions are affecting himself and the people around him. We have told him to move on from the girl but he said that, "Well, she hasn't said no... I think she's keeping me as an option." (She's not.) What pisses me off is that he had the nerve to guilt my friend into doing things she didn't want to do (she didn't sleep with him or anything, thankfully) just because OH BOO HOO NO GIRL WANTS TO GO OUT WITH ME.

Fuckety fuck. And I was having fun dancing too ;_;;;

I have never known any human relationship that exists in or around the rave scene to be anything but dramatic and difficult. So this all sounds very normal.

I've never been to a rave.

Could be due to the fact I hate loud music and dancing. HM.

Edit: Loud "music" in gyms and raves sound about the same, doesn't it? Awful stuff. The people behave the same, too, screaming in PLA's ear. ;_;

I much prefer going to a bar which has music playing, but not at a volume where it inhibits conversation, and having a chat for a few hours over several whiskeys and pints.

I didn't think the rave was that bad. Honestly aside from that idiot, I had fun. I'm growing fond of dancing (not actual dancing, just seizures on the dance floor lolol), too. Loud music kind of only sucks when the music sucks or when your ears are ringing.
