I'd be less bitter about social security if I could get, like, food stamps or some bullshit. I'm a working adult without health insurance, goddammit. If I popped out some snaggle-toothed brats I'd get shit-tons of money from the state but, nooooo, being responsible and clapping up my babymaker only gets me punished with crippling poverty and financial stress. YAY CAPITALISM.

But on the whole, yeah, I proudly support the welfare state... when it functions. inb4 Scandinavian socialist paradise.

I share my middle name with a my (deceased) grandmother and a (living) baby cousin. My first name belonged to my great-grandmother. My (new) last name is, duh, shared by all my in-laws and is of either Welsh/Cornish or English origin. I do know that Mr Kino's people came to Oklahoma in the land run to steal land from the Indians -___- and they were drivers on the Trail of Tears before that, so, pretty much they've been screwing my family for generations. (heyy-o!!!)

Attempted spray-painting a logo logo on a shirt for a halloween costume, but the paint bled and it looks shitty. I did two coats, but the shirt just made it bleed a lot on fade really fast. Still, a shitty costume is better than none... :/

Some imbecile is trying to get all kissy kissy with me and I hoped a lack of response would make it clear that I am not interested. So she goes at it again and I mutter "I got it the first time." She is offended and begins to shout things like "WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER" before storming off in a torrent of rage. How is this fair for me? I made it clear to this person that I have never had an intimate interest in her.



It hurts to know that this person is crying herself to sleep over this, but the fact she refuses to speak with me makes it impossible for me to try and remedy the situation. No helping someone so unreasonable.

Love sure makes people stupid in general. Especially when it involves me. This guy was here last week (A GUY IN MY HOME NO WAY) and when it was time to go he stood at the door staring at me and expecting something like a clueless kid. Trying not to do anything to hurt his feelings, I gave him a hug. I like hugs. Why not? But then he is still standing there expecting something more until I stared long enough to make him go. At least this one was not offended.

It sucks to be sick (flu/cold). It sucks even more when it's my day off.

That does suck, Kimiko, but at least you don't have to worry about calling in sick!

Meh. Over half the department has been more or less sick over the last two weeks. Some pretend to be tough as nails and/or essential to the company and continue to work even if they're clearly not feeling well. Not me though. Sickness takes priority over work. I thought I'd already caught whatever's going around two weeks ago, but it seems to have been something else then. Stupid virus, making me sick on a weekend instead of a work day.
