*grumbles* Methinks I'm subconsciously not over this whole thing with my friends. You guys know how I've been dealing with this for awhile, but I've gtten to the point of just accepting I have to wait--I've cut myself off from both to give myself time to actually move on a few months ago.

Basically, this problem has been giving me bad dreams involving those two friends of mine for the entire year, after things went to hell. Although not as frequent, I'm still having them. xP Maybe I'm reading into this too much, but considering I've had these dreams consistantly since this all began I feel like there is some connection. xP

I'm just very... off, you can say, at the moment.

Drathi: Remember that closure is not often something you seek by trying to re-establish a connection with the person in question (and if you tried this, we'd all be pissed at you again). You need to find the reason inside yourself why this whole thing is not worth anyone's time anymore. There is something deep inside you that still needs permission to move on.

You must have another group of friends you can interact with, right?

Dammit, I just got a shipment notice for a signed comic volume I ordered a while back, and I was shocked to see it's apparently headed for my old apartment in Vancouver. Gonna see if there's a way to get that thing redirected.

@Noodles: It's a bit difficult to explain, but I do have friends I can interact with, but I don't have a lot of friends I can count on. xP Those two were two of three. xP

Hell, I could stand to do the same, considering that I can't stop thinking about the way things went when I left the office job. Can't stop thinking about it and how I wish it could've been different and how there's no way for me to make it right. : /

The important thing, however, is to recognize that "It's hard to do" isn't an excuse to not do it or to prolong it longer than is necessary* or basically use it as a rationale for not making progress. "It's hard to do ... but it must be done" is more apt and very often only the first half is ever done.

*And that's already flimsy at best since it's such a case-by-case basis and has no true definition. How long is "enough" and so on.

^ Even after getting to the second part, you'll just stand there if you don't have some sort of plan. Or if you run out of ideas to change your plan when it fails.


Edit: Stupid Sweden. Today's big scandal is that some middlemanagement guy told his boss three years ago that his coworkers were childish. Apparently very "degrading". Now all of his "victims" have been informed of their victim status and are sobbing in the media. He has been forced to issue a puplic apology. Higher ups and politicians are saying that this must never happen again, and everyone is deeply ashamed and determined. It has been described as horrific.

Earlier this week seven or more men broke into an apartment at night and raped a middle-aged woman. It was reported soberly without commentary.

I don't know much about the whole wearing pants to your knees thing... am I missing something like totally important here? Cause recently I've noticed how A LOT of people, old/older adults and young adults around the age of 18, are wearing pants to their knees. I mean I noticed it during high school but I didn't see it as a big deal then. I just thought those poser boys didn't have any belts or they had lost bets or something. But then I learned it was considered "cool". On what planet?

Any who these past 3 months I've had to take the bus to my community college and I've noticed how a lot of old guys have been sagging their pants as well. Personally I love sitting by the window while on the bus cause the view outside is far better than the view inside. But last night I didn't get to sit next to window so I was by the aisle. So people begin pouring in and eventually the bus gets full. This guy was standing next to me but I didn't really notice cause I was more cold than observant. But this guy didn't have a seat so he had to stand next to me. Maybe he forgot his belt, maybe he was on the verge of putting it on but didn't have time, who knows, point is his ass, almost literally, was right next to my freaking face. His pants were down to his freaking knees and I prayed, for the first time in my whole life, that he wouldn't bend down to pick them up.

Luckily he didn't but what's with that, let's call it a "trend". I mean is it really considered cool to deprive your balls and ass of the warmth and comfort of a pair of pants? I personally would much rather just let my hands and face freeze over than anything below the waist you know... And I see guys walking around with their pants at their knees and they're cold and shivering and don't understand why their junk is frozen over or why they can barely feel their ass when they sit. I mean wearing your pants at you knees just defeats the whole purpose of wearing pants. Why wear them at all if they're not gonna be where they belong. Just saying... cause I'm SO annoyed with this.

If it's not your balls that are freezing, that's really not your problem.

Not to mention, typically low-riding doesn't expose the balls. Mine remain toasty warm at all times.
