Computer has been running perfectly since it was built.

For the past 7 hours, BSOD every 30-40 minutes. Crash dump files apparently not being saved so I can't even dig up the file to tell me what was crashing. Fingers crossed that I got it finally

Edit: Well, SATA drivers updated, BIOS updated, chkdisk comes back clean, and just did a firmware update on the SSD. Here's hoping, I suppose...

RMAing the drive. Seems to be an issue with it; lot of reports of it failing around now which is around the 24/7 uptime for the drive (5000+ hours). Replacing the drive will take a few weeks so I guess I'll buy a temp drive to replace it until then. I wanted a 2TB drive to add to the system so it's not the worst thing to ever happen, I suppose :/

I'd guess about two weeks for the entire RMA process though (3-5 days there, processing, 3-5 days to me), though? That's a long time to go with no SSD speeds

Edit: And shit, looks like the HDD prices are still inflated. Thought they recovered from that flood already. 2TB drive I bought half a year ago is over twice the price I bought it at! ($80 -> $180). Jesus. It's cheaper to replace this SSD with another SSD. What the fuck...

Not really an upgrade, though. HDD prices are through the roof due to the Thailand flood (seriously, $200 for 2TB? lol what is this 2005?) so I can't really justify adding more TBs of storage at that price; $200 and I'd rather just get a shiny 128GB SSD for my Steam library.

Just ended up buying another of the same SSD (~5000 hour lifespan means they should have a firmware fix by then!) so I'm not computer-less during the RMA process.

Cool that the M4 is still the best SSD at the $110 price point. I'd also like to point out the irony that it's there over the Agility 3 due to the phenomenal read speeds ... and the reliability of the drive. Oh dear?

Excessive flattery is so obnoxious. :/ I am very well aware of what I am good at and what I am bad at (also known as A LOT OF THINGS), and I am not just being modest or underselling myself.
