Problem resolved. New SSD installed and all my basic installs done with (thanks, Ninite).

I like how I always forget to pre-download ethernet drivers though. I lucked out and had the file in my backup folder for the switch but still.

I've forgotten to pre-download drivers too many times. Getting use of another Internet-connected computer for the drivers usually isn't a problem, but why do HP, Dell & Friends have such hateful, hateful support sites? Ugh.

Edit - Great mother, are potato chips ever absolutely disgusting.

So I ate:
A bag of chips
An apple
Two bowls of rice noodle (in less than two minutes)
A bowl of fettucini alfredo
Who knows how many marshmallows
Ice cream

All is well once more.

Cool.

A dish fell out of the cupboard, and managed to both smash my toe and shattered in one fall.

Being alone, it leaves me in an awkward situation where there are sharp fragments of pain and agony with varying levels of visibility on the walkable surface area around me. My toe is gushing blood rapidly and I am in immense pain. I need to navigate through the field of caltrops in order to reach some method of stopping the bleeding, without leaving a blood trail in my wake. Thankfully this was in a kitchen so I was able to find ample paper towels for my journey. It is with great fortune that many of my yoga routines involve awkward poses while on one foot, for I was able to both keep the blood away from the floor and bandage things up without the luxury of sitting.

In the end I was able to clean up my toe and the mess, but I cannot help but feel the running theme of the day has involved utilizing my trained sense of balance just to prove it is useful in the real world... a trial that is highly unnecessary. You know. Like an episode of a Saturday morning cartoon that proves that the character with gimped abilities actually has purpose for existing.

The obstacle course I had to go through to catch a bus today... not ideal while wearing formal attire.
