For a few days I've had a dull ache in my left side whenever I'd take a deep breathe. Was woken up this morning (without really getting sleep) feeling like there was a pine cone in my lung. Inhaling, exhaling, moving, and standing all gave me the sensation of being stabbed.

Apparently there is some kind of buildup in my intestines that is pushing against my diaphragm and lungs. It's better now that I've gotten medication, but I wish this didn't happen on game night.

I just drank a bunch of cider and slept it off, though.

I taught my sister how to torrent and she now always has something huge downloading. It is killing our wifi. She just finished with a complete high-quality HIMYM rip, all 7 seasons and bonus content like songs and shit. It took 3 days. Good lord.

I was trying to play Kid Icarus tonight with my buddy online and it was laggy as hell. And my internet cuts out literally, and I mean literally, every few minutes and tells me Google can't load the page, especially on sites with higher traffic like Reddit or dA. Grr.

And right now her and her friends are in the next room over giggling and playing a really loud movie at 2:30 in the morning even though there are plenty of other rooms in the house with a TV. Make it stop.

Yes. But problems none-the-less. I've calculated an 100% chance that joining Pottermore would help get this girl to like me, and I can't because my computer won't open up a webpage getting that much traffic.

Ugh. I woke up this morning with a headache. I figured it was a migraine and took some painkillers and went back to sleep, hoping to have it pass quickly so I'd only have to work an hour later like last time. No such luck though. By 8:45 it hadn't abated at all, so I called in sick.
Then I hoped it would only last half the day or so (as it usually does) so I could at least get something useful done, like figuring out a way to connect the fiber internet modem to my computer through half the apartment and one wall. No luck again though. I've been lying on the couch all day, sleeping most of the time, with a headache that wouldn't go away even after about six times ibuprofen+paracetamol (acetaminofen for the Americans), and nausea that made me not want to eat.
The nausea is finally gone, and the headache seems to be lessening a little now. I'm not sure I want to cook a meal yet, even though I am rather hungry.
Blech. I hate migraine. Maybe I should ask my GP for something that actually stops it. Regular painkillers only make it somewhat bearable, but it'd still cost me at least half a day. And I was so proud that I hadn't had to call in sick for two months too.
