@grandparents - I lost my last one two years ago. She too lived a long life surrounded by family who adored her (and vice versa). Her death was a relief really, as her health had been declining rapidly in the last year. We were still sad about losing her though.

Stan Lee is the creator behind most major Marvel characters, such as Spiderman, the Hulk, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Fantastic Four, etc etc. He worked with other artists and writers to make Marvel a huge name in the industry, and is generally credited with revolutionizing the superhero archetype and defeating the comic code censorship restrictions.

^ Also a comicbook-character. So he's a patriot.
