My laptop's monitor doesn't boot anymore. Not even the little camera-light above it. What do I do?

Camera light?
Connect an external monitor and see if that works. If it does, at least the video card is okay still.
Then open up the laptop and check if the display connector cable has come loose.

No luck with that either? That's bad indeed, as it means that your laptop's video card is dead to the world.

Hopefully you have some warranty left then. How old is it? Try entering the service tag (5-7 digit/letter code on the bottom of the laptop, next to a barcode) on .
