The guy who leads an effort to bid on a large project decides to go on vacation the day the proposal is due.

My mother and her associates are glue-eatingly, pants-on-head retarded. Keeping me up all night, distracting me from timekills, making me use a PS3 instead of borrowing a computer. Guess I won't be ordering a new comp today. Btw, is 1.3 GHz as terrible as it sounds? :3

Processor speed doesn't matter as much these days as it used to. Sure, with identical specs, the faster processor is indeed faster, but unless you have it do heavy math, other things will be more important, like the amount of memory and harddisk space, or the speed of the network connection or the harddisk or video card.

I don't have any ambition in my life. There isn't a single career I have a burning passion to pursue. There's nothing I feel like suffering to achieve.

I'm just happy with my life the way it is, and that's a Bad Thing because I'm poor, work a dead-end job with no benefits, have no financial security, etc.

I guess I should fix that. Well, I know I need to fix that. I need to figure out what the hell I want to do with myself, or else I'm going to end up alone and sad in life.

Ugh. How the hell do you go about finding a passion?

Someone replace my lazy, unambitious attitude with someone who cares enough to suffer for their dreams or, better yet, has some. That or give my husband a lobotomy and convince him that his wife doesn't really need to do anything with her life besides read yaoi manga and dick around on the internet. kthx.

I don't think I have such a passion either, Kino. My job pays enough to live off and occasionally splurge on luxuries. I enjoy what I do, but I don't have prospects of advancement. I don't care about attaining some management position though, so that's okay. I would rate my current enjoyment of life as between content and happy. Not super dokidoki exciting, but I'm not looking to change anything either. I don't expect to grow tired of the way things are going now for a good many years.

Today I got my first chance to try out my new migraine medication (sumatriptan). I've taken three tablets over the course of the day, and none seemed to do anything (except the first, which I took on an empty stomach; it made my head feel like it was being inflated for a short time, but didn't do anything for the headache). I'll give it another try the next time I have a migraine, but today was a complete failure
