I'm sorry to hear that, Kimiko! ;_; I hope you figure out where to go from here. Maybe this will be an opportunity for you to find something even better!

Yeah, you're right. I read through my contract /workplace rules again, and they can actually withhold my wage if I mess up. I still have some vacation left, and if I use up all of it only one or 1.5 week is left to work. I suppose I can live through that, although it will be really awkward.

Sorry to hear that, Kimiko. I wish you the best. You'll find something again. I'm sure of it!
I'll say a prayer for you tonight, ok? *hugs*

I haven't seen you on MSN for a while, and was wondering how you were doing...I'm so sorry to hear this is happening. But I also had to basically start over this year, and it isn't all bad...
I don't think you're being justly let go, so you'll probably be able to get some kind of unemployment between jobs, at least. I don't really know how Europe works...

^ I don't know about Holland, but it's almost danish, so on that basis I believe she'll get what she needs either way.
Here, you need to have worked before. Possibly for a minimal period. I think that's it. Hasn't been very relevant to me yet, because I only get jobs that don't count.
Holy fuck. I need a bigger flyswatter for all these emotional vampires.

*Mutters* going through a moment in my life when I'm terrified (again) that I suffer from depression.
I won that award and though the day after I felt I wanted to continue on another project, after a few sketches... I stopped. Haven't worked on much since.
I have recently attempted to pick up my writing. Yesterday I brought my computer downstairs and am sitting in front of the tv... my computer just sat beside me, unopened, while I watched. I knew it was there... I just didn't have the energy to sit down and start working on it.
I've not even started my resume to move to another job even though I so desperately want to get out of my current one.
I just feel... unmotivated by it all. :\
*sigh* Or maybe this is just one of those moments in my new life where I'm starting a new chapter but I'm not quite yet ready to make the commitment. I keep telling myself that I'm just being depressa-phobic (my own made-up word to describe it) again and that this is really what it is. I'm thinking of going out this weekend on my own to a coffee shop that my sister and I like to frequent, by myself, and just sit down and focus on my writing and getting my resume done. Maybe being at home is too much of a distraction.
There are times I wish I could go to a therapist if only for the sake of getting the final diagnosis on my mental health. To be told I am NOT suffering from depression would be a grand relief. :\ But... what if I am....

yuna is a liar or didn't have very crooked teeth
braces are so painful
first they removed 4 of my adult teeth. I had those ridiculous drool-inducing bloodied rolls of cotton in my mouth, plus my mouth was all numbed up from the anesthesia, and my mother took me to the store afterward rather than going straight home, and I ran into the boy I had a crush on with his mother
the spacers were the easiest part
for application of the actual braces I was literally held down in the orthodontist's chair while he used a mallet and chisel to pound the rings around my molars. Have you ever had literal swear to god fucking mallet and chisel being applied to your mouth? its is terrifying, let alone the pain
then I had to endure sizing up the band to something about as thick as a large paperclip, over the course of several months. After that they became tightening them, slowly but surely, to space out my lower teeth into the gaps created by the tooth removal previously
I wanted them to tell me what they were doing, so I'd have some warning, because otherwise you're just lying in the chair staring up at the goddamn asinine "hang in there kitten" inspirational bullshit posters while some silent torturer does whatever it is she's going to do to you -- was just warning me before GRABBING THE GODDAMN MALLET AND CHISEL a bit too much for you?
oh and then the fact I'd slice my tongue and mouth to shreads on my newly acquired metallic mouth, because I'm neurotic and unable to keep from licking at the sharp objects in my mouth
I swear to god. I needed braces so badly, don't get me wrong, but the whole experience was torturous and evil and ... ugghhhh
Oh, and I still have a permanent retainer affixed to the inside of my lower front teeth. It'll stay there pretty much forever.

o_o Never been to a dentist since I was a kid. Oral hygiene was the last thing on my poor mom's list as she struggled to raise us children. I know my teeth are crooked, but I still have a very nice looking smile and I don't think I could bare the idea of dealing with braces - EVER. I like my mouth just the way it is.
Though I would like to see a dentist to get a tooth pulled that chipped and to take care of some cavities. Better teeth care is something I want to strive for when I get a good health plan... from somewhere...
